2 months of written verification of income (wages, retirement, cash benefits) or 2 years Profit and Loss or Schedule C if self-employed, 2 prior years tax returns
- For real estate: deeds with legal descriptions and the latest lender’s statement.
- For vehicles, boats, trailers: the title documents.
- For all bank accounts: the latest statement.
- For life insurance policies with cash surrender or loan value: the latest declaration page.
- For stocks, bonds, secured notes, mutual funds: the certificate or latest statement.
- For retirement and pensions: the latest summary plan document and latest benefit statement.
- For profit-sharing, IRAs, deferred compensation, and annuities: the latest statement.
- For each account receivable and unsecured note: documentation of the account receivable or note.
- For partnerships and other business interests: the most current K-1 and Schedule C.
- For other assets: the most current statement, title document, or declaration.
- For support arrearages: orders and statements.
- For credit cards and other debts: the latest statement.
You must also disclose in writing, accurate and complete information about any investment opportunity, business opportunity, or other income-producing opportunity you have had since you separated, as long as that opportunity originated from an investment, business or other opportunity after you got married but before you separated.
